Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Measurement

We also use analytics and advertising measurement services. These providers may include Google and Meta. When your privacy settings permit, limited identifiers, activity data (such as pages viewed and button clicks) and transaction data (such as an order reference, order value and currency) may be used and shared with these providers for measurement and attribution, meaning understanding which ads and visits lead to orders, reservations and sign-ups.

Your privacy preference. Our site stores your privacy preference in a cookie named _useggConsent. It governs whether your identity may be used for advertising on usegg.com. Unless you opt out, advertising measurement is on. You can opt out at any time using the "Opt out of tracking" control in the privacy notice on our site. When you opt out, user-level advertising identifiers are removed from the measurement events we send: your email address, phone number, name, advertising member identifier, advertising cookie identifiers, and your IP address and browser details as customer identity. Only aggregate or non-identifying event measurement occurs where the provider supports it, and some events are not sent to Meta at all. The providers' own scripts running in your browser may still receive the technical network information your browser transmits to them (such as your IP address and browser details) when a page loads. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, though some website features may not work properly if essential cookies are disabled.

Not advertising consent. The following are not consent to advertising tracking and do not change your advertising privacy preference: accepting our Terms, enrolling in our loyalty program, verifying a one-time passcode (OTP), receiving Loyalty system SMS messages, signing up for email marketing, signing up for SMS marketing, or making a purchase.

Online orders. When we receive an order event from our online ordering partner (Olo), we cannot confirm your browser privacy preference. We therefore treat these events as private: we send no advertising user data about you, Google receives only aggregate measurement (such as order reference, value and currency) where supported, and Meta does not receive the event.
