Big Adventures Start at the Breakfast Table

The best family adventures in Arizona don't start at a trailhead or a theme park — they start around the breakfast table, where a plate of something warm and a few unhurried minutes together can spark a conversation that carries a kid all the way through the day.
At U.S. Egg, we've watched that happen for 40 years. Families pile into our booths on a Saturday morning, the kind of morning that still smells like possibility. A kid traces the route to Grandma's house on a paper placemat. Someone asks why the Grand Canyon is so big. The syrup gets passed. Questions get answered. A plan gets made. That's not just brunch — that's the beginning of something.
Learning and Adventure, Every Single Day
Kids are wired to explore. They want to know what the tallest mountain is, what people eat in New Orleans, and how far it really is to the ocean. The table is where those questions live — and we wanted to give families a little more fuel for them.
That's the idea behind the U.S. Egg Kids Adventure Hub at usegg.com/kids. It's a free corner of our site built for curious kids and the grown-ups who love answering their questions.
The Free Explore America Map
Every adventure needs a map.
The U.S. Egg Explore America Map is a free printable activity kids can color, mark with places they've already been, and circle the spots they want to visit next. Each state comes with a fun fact — famous foods, wild landmarks, a piece of history that makes a kid go "wait, really?" It's designed for the kitchen table, the back seat of a long drive, or the slow hour after brunch when nobody wants to leave yet.
Download it free at the Kids Adventure Hub, and print as many copies as you need — every road trip deserves a fresh one.
Get Moving — The Phoenix 10K and the Mollen Mile
U.S. Egg is proud to support two races that prove Arizona families don't sit still for long.
The Phoenix 10K is one of the Valley's favorite morning runs, and U.S. Egg is there cheering every pacer and first-timer across the finish line. But the race we're really excited about is the Mollen Mile — the kids' fun-run that's all about showing up, moving your feet, and having a blast. Named in honor of Dr. Art Mollen, Phoenix's longtime champion of healthy living, the Mollen Mile is open to kids of all speeds. No pressure, no personal records, just a mile of pure Arizona sunshine and a finish line worth crossing.

Meet the Dr. Mollen Omelette
To celebrate the partnership year-round, we added a new menu special in Dr. Mollen's honor. The Dr. Mollen Omelette is a clean, protein-rich start to any active day: egg whites, fresh spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and melted cheese, made to order at all six Valley locations. It's the kind of breakfast that feels good before a long run, after a long run, or on any morning you want to earn your afternoon.
Giving Back to Arizona Families
The Kids Adventure Hub is part of something bigger than a single plate of eggs. U.S. Egg has been locally owned and Arizona-rooted since 1986, and supporting the families and schools in our communities has always been part of how we operate. If your school, classroom, or youth organization is doing something worth celebrating, we want to hear about it — stop by any of our six Valley locations or reach out through the Hub.
