We recommend placing catering orders at least 24-48 hours in advance to ensure availability and proper preparation. For large events (50+ people) or special occasions, please order 3-5 days ahead. Same-day orders may be accommodated based on availability - please call us directly.
What's the minimum order for catering?
Our minimum catering order is $85, which typically serves 5 people. Most of our catering trays are designed to serve 5 people, making it perfect for small team meetings or family gatherings. For larger events, simply order multiple trays.
Do you offer vegetarian and vegan options?
Absolutely! We have numerous vegetarian options including our Veggie Scramble Tray, Veggie Breakfast Sandwich Tray, Buttermilk and Chocolate Chip Pancake Platters, and fresh fruit bowls. While we don't have dedicated vegan items, many dishes can be customized. Please let us know about dietary restrictions when ordering.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes, we take dietary restrictions seriously. We offer gluten-free options like our Cobb Salad Bowl and can modify many dishes. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when placing your order, and we'll work with you to ensure safe, delicious options for all your guests.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area including Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, and surrounding areas. Delivery fees may apply based on distance. For specific location availability and delivery charges, please contact your nearest U.S. Egg location when placing your order.
Is setup and cleanup included in catering?
Our catering comes ready to serve in disposable, eco-friendly containers. We provide serving utensils, napkins, and plates. Setup is minimal - just arrange and enjoy! Cleanup is easy with our disposable packaging. For full-service setup at your event, please ask about our premium catering options.
How do I place a catering order?
You can place catering orders by calling your nearest U.S. Egg location directly, or by filling out our catering contact form below. We'll confirm your order details, timing, and delivery/pickup preferences. Payment can be made when you place the order or upon delivery/pickup.
Do you provide beverages for catering orders?
Yes! We offer gallon containers of freshly brewed coffee (regular or decaf), fresh-squeezed juices (orange, grapefruit, or apple), and iced tea. Coffee serves 12 people, while juices serve 10. These are perfect additions to complete your catering spread.
What is the per-person cost for catering? How do I estimate a budget?
U.S. Egg catering is generally priced at $17-$25 per person depending on menu selections, with trays sized to serve 5 people starting at $85. A typical corporate breakfast spread with eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, and beverages runs approximately $20-$22 per person. Coffee and juice add approximately $1-$2 per person. Do you accept purchase orders or invoices for corporate catering?
Yes. For established corporate clients, government agencies, schools, and nonprofits, we can accommodate purchase order (PO) billing and net payment terms on approved accounts. Contact our catering team to set up a corporate account before your first order. For one-time orders, we accept all major credit cards and company checks. We can provide itemized invoices suitable for expense reporting and procurement documentation upon request.
What time does catering delivery start? Can you deliver for early morning meetings?
Yes. We understand that breakfast meetings often start early. Our locations open at 6:30 AM daily, and we can coordinate catering delivery or pickup to accommodate early-morning schedules. For delivery before 8:00 AM, please note this when submitting your catering request so we can confirm availability with your nearest location. Same-day early delivery requests should be confirmed by calling your location the evening before.
Can you handle large events for 100, 150, or 200 people?
Absolutely. We regularly cater events ranging from small team meetings to large gatherings of 150 or more guests. Our North Scottsdale location has served events of 150+ guests with excellent results. Large orders are subject to the following conditions*: orders of 75+ guests require 5-7 business days advance notice; orders of 150+ guests require 7-10 business days and may be limited to select locations based on kitchen capacity; a deposit or prepayment may be required for orders over $1,000; menu selections for very large events may be limited to items that scale well in volume; and cancellations within 48 hours of the event may be subject to a fee. Do you offer individually packaged meals or individually labeled items?
Yes. We offer individually packaged meal options which are ideal for office environments, events where guests have assigned seating, or situations where food safety handling is a priority. Individual packaging works well for box-lunch style breakfasts at training sessions, conferences, and employee appreciation days. Please request individual packaging when placing your order, as it may affect pricing. Our standard catering uses shared trays with serving utensils.
Are you tax-exempt friendly for schools, nonprofits, and government agencies?
Yes. U.S. Egg works with tax-exempt organizations including school districts, nonprofits, churches, and government agencies. To apply your organization's tax-exempt status, provide your tax-exempt certificate at the time of ordering. We can accommodate Arizona TPT (transaction privilege tax) exemptions for qualifying organizations. Contact your nearest location to discuss account setup.
Can we set up a recurring weekly or monthly catering account?
Yes. We love working with organizations that need consistent, reliable catering on a regular schedule. Is U.S. Egg catering insured? Do you carry food handler certifications?
Yes. U.S. Egg is fully insured and all of our food handlers are trained and certified in accordance with Maricopa County Health Department requirements. We have been operating since 1986 and take food safety standards seriously at all locations. For events that require proof of insurance or food safety documentation — including school districts, government agencies, and corporate events with vendor compliance requirements — please contact us directly and we can provide the necessary documentation.
