U.S. Egg Sponsors the Mollen Mile — Because Great Mornings Start Moving

U.S. Egg has been feeding Phoenix families since 1986 — and this year, we are lacing up alongside them.
A Community That Runs Together
The Phoenix 10K Mollen Mile is one of the Valley's most beloved family traditions: a kids fun-run held as part of the Phoenix 10K race weekend, designed to give young runners their first taste of what it feels like to cross a finish line. It is not about times or trophies. It is about the look on a child's face when they realize they ran a whole mile.
We are proud to be an official sponsor of that moment.
Why U.S. Egg Supports This Race
Forty years ago, a family opened the first U.S. Egg with a simple belief: a great morning meal changes the whole day. That belief has never changed, and neither has our commitment to the Arizona communities we serve across six Valley locations.
The Mollen Mile reflects exactly the values we bring to every table — family, energy, health, and the simple pleasure of a good morning well spent. When a race has kids in the description and a finish line draped in Phoenix sunshine, U.S. Egg belongs there.
The Man Behind the Mile
The run is named in honor of Dr. Art Mollen — Phoenix's own running doctor, a physician, author, and lifelong advocate for active living who has been encouraging Arizonans to get moving for decades. Healthy communities are not built in clinics; they are built in neighborhoods, on trails, and at finish lines. The Mollen Mile carries that spirit forward, one young runner at a time.
Fueling the Finish
To celebrate our sponsorship and honor Dr. Mollen's philosophy, U.S. Egg created the Dr. Mollen Omelette — a year-round menu special built for active families:
- Egg whites — lean, high-quality protein
- Fresh spinach — iron and micronutrients
- Tomatoes — bright, fresh flavor
- Mushrooms — earthy depth
- Melted cheese — because clean eating still deserves flavor
This is not a one-week gimmick. The Dr. Mollen Omelette lives on our menu permanently, available every morning from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM at all six U.S. Egg locations. Order it the morning of the race. Order it the morning after.
