5 months agoI went to this location because the Tempe location is under renovation. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this location but I’m happy to say it did not let me down. The food was amazing, the avocados were fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly, my partner kept complimenting the dish (Trad. Eggs Benedict) as they ate. I got the southwest burger and it was delicious, the sourdough bread was toasted to perfection and the fries tasted very fresh. The service at this location was great, our server was very friendly and answered any questions we had. They stopped by every so often to make sure everything was good. The atmosphere is great, they have some nice background music playing. It felt very homey.

3 weeks agoEverything was great this morning. Bit of a misunderstanding from the menu, my fault. Got exactly what I wanted. Food is good, everyone is friendly. Thank you again, Carmine. You didn't have to do that, waiter got a little extra tip😉

3 weeks agoI happened to attend with my toddler boss. He is a tough customer to please. He loved the chocolate pancakes and now wants to go back as his favorite pancake place. The options are plenty, and the proportions are great for adults as well.

a week agoService is top notch! Welcoming smiles the whole way through! Food came quickly and love how they just place a big jug of water on the table so we can refill our cups. Its hot in AZ, gotta hydrate! I should've gotten the triple play breakfast which had their pancakes and what not, but I wanted an skillet. It was good, but if they would've used home fries instead of hash browns ida given them 4 stars. The hash brown gives it a soggy texture when im expectating a crunch. My son got the kids hamburger meal which was huge. He loved it. Fries were a8 bit salty though. Im retired military and a place named U.S. didn't offer military discount was a bit disappointing. So price affected the rating as well, because I can head due east and hit an awesome breakfast joint. Overall a really excellent restaurant.

3 weeks agoI came in 2 weekends ago and had an okay experience. The food was amazing and the people are great! I did have a server though that just seemed really preoccupied with other things. She was pretty busy so I understand but she came off a little distracted. Maybe it just wasnt her day or something but if you dont like where you work, change jobs. Everyone else was very warm and welcoming but please do something about this servers attitude. I believe her name was Vanessa. I hope she has better days in the future.

7 months agoOK breakfast spot with pleasant service, but not a great value proposition. The kids ordered topped waffles, solidly done. My wife, who wasn’t too hungry just had a bagel (fine). I had the Sonoran Burrito. It was decent, but taste was dominated by tomatoey salsa (hard to taste the chorizo/eggs), lacking heat, and the hash browns were a major let down (undercooked / almost soggy). Coffee was Ok. Was expecting better, though, for a breakfast spot at a price point equal to Starbucks. All-in-all, that was the theme. Everything was fine, but for the price, it was a let down except the service which was pleasant and efficient. For a couple of waffles with toppings, a breakfast burrito, a bagel with cream cheese, and two drinks, we were about eighty dollars with tip. That’s not wild in today’s environment, but nearby Biscuits is a bit less for a bit better food, and for just a tiny bit more, a place like Perk or OBH is vastly superior. This place is OK for sure, but better options are available for this price.

4 months agoSeeing that it was voted best in the valley 3 years in a row, I had to come check it out. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs w/ a short stack. Chicken fried steak was ok. Im a snob when it comes to that, definitely have had better but still very good. Food came out just the way I asked. The buttermilk pancakes were pretty great. Definitely the star of breakfast. My waitress was great, just the right amount of attentiveness and it was cool to see her interact with other customers and remember regulars. You dont see that anymore. Definitely a spot I will return to frequently.

2 months agoThe staff here was very friendly but the food fell a bit short of some other their other locations. The hashbrowns were not crispy at all and the protein pancakes were a bit crumbly. But the deep friend peanut butter sandwich? To die for!

8 months agoThe prices were above what I would have expected but I was blown away at the precise cooking (which takes skill) and taste of the food so we will come back. The chicken fried steak and eggs were one of the best I've had but not the best but still really REALLY good. The English muffin I suspect was made there as it wasn't what you normally get from food distributors like Cisco and was also very good. The hash browns were also cooked to perfection. My wife's sandwich she enjoyed as well.

a year agoFirst time at US egg. The place was clean with a diner feel. The first thing that struck us was almost a fixed menu pricing.. high prices for everything even cheaper to make items priced similarly to higher food cost items. The menu structure and cost led us away from breakfast items focusing in on lunch item for better choice for dollar spent. We enjoyed the service, hamburgers and BLT. Cocktails were yummy too🥰

6 months agoU.S. Egg was... perfectly fine. The place was well kept, staff was friendly, and I didn't want for anything at any point during my dining experience. I got the protein pancakes and meat lover's breakfast skillet and was pretty happy with my choice. The pancakes were definitely above average, but the skillet was... alright. It had a lovely base and a tasty selection of meats, but it was tough to taste through an over-generous serving of salt and pepper done throughout, particularly in the gravy. All in all, solid experience, but nothing that'll blow you away. Check it out if you're really in the mood for a classic American diner.

a month agoThis is still by far the best place to enjoy a tasty breakfast. Do not forget to have a protein pancake. Great portion sizes! My Italian friends have done a fantastic job creating a flavorful menus with a lot of options. They hire motivated, friendly, young staff that provide excellent service. Hats off to you for creating a phenomenal business model the customers love. DG

2 months agoThe food was not bad, but just average. I got the chicken fried steak with poached eggs, and hash-browns. The eggs were poached correctly, but nothing stands out. I’d say the coffee was the best part of my meal. It looks like they focus more on drinks than they do on food. The atmosphere was really nice in the restaurant is very well staffed. That said, my service was not good. My server never came back to check on me and I had to track him down to get my bill. It was not Busy And I was just a single diner. My server dropped off a picture of water and the craft of coffee, Which is just pure laziness on a single top. This is something that you do with large tables Or when you’re busy. Server definitely does not deserve a tip because I might as well have just ordered at the counter.

a year agoWe visited for a late Sunday morning breakfast, and the place was bustling with a packed crowd. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff worked tirelessly to accommodate everyone. The food quality remained top-notch, even during the rush. My pancake wasn't particularly fluffy, but it tasted good. The egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon slices were large and flavorful. Our server was friendly and attentive, despite being clearly occupied with many tables. We definitely plan to return and look forward to trying another day, perhaps midweek, to enjoy the place with a bit less of a crowd.
